Mental Health Care Counseling

Kate is an Mental Health Social Worker accredited with AASW. She is able to offer tailored and flexible therapy services to meet the needs of each client. Working from a trauma-informed framework, there is a focus on creating a safe and non-judgmental space. Kate is able to offer face-to-face appointments at Gracemere medical, as well as telehealth appointments.
With a warm and respectful approach, Kate provides emotional and mental health support to individuals who are facing personal challenges or difficulties. Kate has been living and working across Central Queensland over the past 12 years and has a rural background. After finishing her postgraduate degree, Kate decided to
specialise in the field of Mental Health and continue to advance her expertise and skills in this sector.
With more than two decades of industry experience working in Government and Community organisations, Kate has extensive knowledge in the field of mental health. Because of this, Kate has the ability to draw on a range of evidence-based psychological therapies and shape sessions to best suit each person.
